Altamont has gone a perfect 7-0 against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Indians will welcome the Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. Altamont is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Altamont was able to grind out a solid victory over Tuscola, taking the game 12-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Parker Bell was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Reardon, who earned three runs and two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City came up short against Neoga on Wednesday and fell 4-1. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Mueller, who went 1-for-3 with one run. Clive Schlanser also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Altamont pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Altamont took their win against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-2 score. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
