Soccer Recap: Hempstead Takes a Loss

Hempstead lost against Sealy back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hempstead Bobcats lost 8-0 to the Sealy Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 720th, while the Tigers are ranked 123rd).

Hempstead is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7-1. As for Sealy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Navasota the next time they take the pitch. Hempstead will head out to face Navasota at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Sealy will head out to face them at 5:15 p.m. on February 7th.
