Softball Recap: Washington Township Comes Up Short

Washington Township lost against South Central back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Senators fell 7-2 to the Satellites. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington Township saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clair Klinger, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Washington Township's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for South Central, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1.

Washington Township has already played their next matchup, a 21-0 win against Lake Station Edison on the 30th. As for South Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-3 victory against Wheeler on the 30th.
