Woodlawn had already won 19 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it 20 on Monday. They blew past the Magnet Cove Panthers 11-2. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by eight runs or more this season.

Lillie McWhorter made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up a single earned run in 22 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and two doubles. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lily White, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kathryn Dixon, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Woodlawn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive matchups.

Woodlawn's victory bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Magnet Cove, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Woodlawn has already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Murfreesboro on the 8th. Hopefully Magnet Cove paid attention to the Bears' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bears at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
