Baseball Recap: Morris Takes a Loss

Morris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-2 to the Sequoyah Indians. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2018.

Morris' loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Sequoyah, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sequoyah beat Morris by a score of 12-2 later that day.
