Preview: Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs vs. Estill County Engineers
The Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs and the Estill County Engineers will face off at 1:30 p.m. on December 28th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kentucky (Hazard is ranked 116th, while Estill County is ranked 139th).
Last Friday, Hazard didn't have too much trouble with Greenup County on the road as they won 57-42.
Meanwhile, Estill County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 58-43 to Ridgeview.
Hazard's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Estill County, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Hazard was able to grind out a solid win over Estill County in their previous meeting back in December of 2018, winning 59-47. Will Hazard repeat their success, or does Estill County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
