Volleyball Recap: Johnson Knights vs. Franklin County Lions
Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin County Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17.
Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Franklin County, their win bumped their record up to 9-16.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson will challenge East Forsyth at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Franklin County, they will head out on the road to challenge Cedar Shoals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin County is facing Cedar Shoals at the right time seeing as Cedar Shoals is stuck on a 25-game losing streak.
