Volleyball Recap: Adrian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Adrian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dundee Vikings. The Maples were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Adrian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for Dundee, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

Adrian and Dundee should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Maples (ranked 202nd) will meet Ypsilanti (ranked 534th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dundee will square off against Blissfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (218 vs. 491).
