Basketball Recap: Concrete Takes a Loss

Concrete played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 91-41 defeat at the hands of the Auburn Adventist Falcons. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-22.

Auburn Adventist found their leader in sophomore John Andrew Dubreuil, who went 9 for 11 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Victor Samuels, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 10 points and four steals.

Concrete is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Auburn Adventist, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concrete will head out to challenge Crescent at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Auburn Adventist, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Quilcene at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
