Baseball Game Preview: Manor Mustangs vs. Churchland Truckers

Manor is 2-8 against Churchland since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Manor will head out to face off against Churchland at 4:30 p.m. Manor has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Manor is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 20 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Lakeland on Monday. They came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 12-2.

Manor saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Newburn, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, while Churchland put up plenty of runs last Friday, the same can't be said for Deep Creek. Churchland blew past Deep Creek 14-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Truckers.

Churchland's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Manor, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Manor might still be hurting after the 15-5 loss they got from Churchland when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Manor avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
