Basketball Recap: Sumiton Christian Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Sumiton Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 67-64 victory over the Oak Grove Tigers on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted against the Tigers since December 6, 2019.

Despite the loss, Oak Grove still got an impressive performance from Kyler Pollistrini, who posted 24 points. The dominant performance gave Pollistrini a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Zyontae Hubbard, who earned 14 points.
