Soccer Game Preview: West Charlotte vs. Harding University

West Charlotte is on an eight-game streak of home losses, and Harding University a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The West Charlotte Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Harding University Rams at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Thursday just wasn't the day for West Charlotte's offense. They lost 10-0 to Hough on Thursday. While losing is never fun, West Charlotte can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 487th, while Hough are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, Harding University also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Concord on Monday, falling 4-0.

Harding University's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for West Charlotte, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15-1.

West Charlotte came out on top in a nail-biter against Harding University when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
