Oakwood dropped their record down to 13-4 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 4-1 to the Trinity Classical Academy Knights. If the Owls were looking for revenge after losing 4-1 to the Knights when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Trinity Classical Academy, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 16-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games.

For Trinity Classical Academy's part, Luke Backes was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Andrew Kelley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Looking ahead, Oakwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) on Thursday. As for Trinity Classical Academy, they will head out to take on Desert Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
