Basketball Recap: Rockwall-Heath Comes Up Short

Rockwall-Heath has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. The contest between them and the San Angelo Central Bobcats didn't end well, with the Rockwall-Heath Hawks falling 63-49.

Despite the loss, Rockwall-Heath saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Paxton Ivy went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Turner-Dicus, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points.

Rockwall-Heath's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for San Angelo Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.
