While Traverse City West's victory against Petoskey wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans had just enough and edged out the Northmen 4-3 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Northmen: they've now won seven in a row.

Grace Shedlock spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 12 Ks.

At the plate, Kapri Wilson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Natalie Koon also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Traverse City West's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Petoskey, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-3.

Traverse City West will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Northmen: the pair will be back at it again later today.
