Volleyball Recap: Taylor Yellowjackets vs. Anderson Raptors
Taylor had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Anderson Raptors on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Yellowjackets sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Taylor had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 25-14, 25-16.
Xavier Rodriguez was the offensive standout of the game as he had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden Frimming, who had nine digs and two aces.
They weren't the only good server: Taylor was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They are a perfect 10-0 when they serve at least ten aces.
