Basketball Recap: Shiloh Generals vs. Tri-Cities Bulldogs
Shiloh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Tri-Cities Bulldogs, falling 62-42. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 40-29 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2020.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tri-Cities to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hannah Morris, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. Morris has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alyssia Bandele, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.
Shiloh's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Tri-Cities, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Shiloh will host Woodward Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodward Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60 points per game this season. As for Tri-Cities, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Oxford at 8:30 p.m. on December 20th.
