Basketball Recap: Grundy County Takes a Loss

Grundy County lost against Cannon County back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grundy County Yellowjackets were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to the Cannon County Lions. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grundy County's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Cannon County, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Grundy County and Stewarts Creek will compete for holiday cheer at 8:30 p.m. on December 20th. As for Cannon County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 62-42 victory against Central Magnet on the 14th.
