Football Recap: Lincoln Lancers vs. Peyton Panthers
Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 57-8 loss at the hands of the Peyton Panthers.
Noah Martin went supernova for Peyton, rushing for 77 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 128 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes. Martin is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Peyton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Lincoln will be playing in front of their home fans against Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peyton, they will welcome Flatirons Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
