Volleyball Recap: Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Sports & Medical Sciences Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on the Weaver Beavers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Sports & Medical Sciences Academy never let Weaver on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-22.

Analiah Rivera paced Sports & Medical Sciences Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Rivera got some help from Lucynda Martir and her ten assists. Joanelis Negron-Arroyo controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The win got Sports & Medical Sciences Academy back to even at 3-3.

Sports & Medical Sciences Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Achievement First on the 18th. As for Weaver, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Academy of Science and Innovation on the 19th.
