Softball Recap: Three Forks Wolves vs. Powell County Wardens

Three Forks won the last time they faced Powell County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolves blew past the Wardens 20-2. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by ten runs or more this season.

Maycee Church was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four). She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Three Forks let Sierra Lindquist and Karlie McDermott run wild. Lindquist went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple, while McDermott went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most RBI McDermott has posted since back in April of 2024.
