Baseball Game Preview: Fletcher Wildcats vs. Riverside Indian Braves

Fletcher is 9-1 against Riverside Indian since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Fletcher will look to defend their home field against Riverside Indian at 6:00 p.m.

On Monday, Fletcher came up short against Big Pasture and fell 7-3. The Wildcats have struggled against the Rangers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Fletcher saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rayce Stoll, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Stoll has posted since back in February.

Meanwhile, Riverside Indian made easy work of Granite on Monday and carried off a 9-1 victory. Considering the Braves have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Isaac Hernandez, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Landon Davis, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Riverside Indian's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Fletcher, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
