Volleyball Recap: Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Central lost against Crescent Valley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Raiders. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Central started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-14.

Karsyn Horn was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and three aces.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Crescent Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Central will challenge rival Silverton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Crescent Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Woodburn at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
