New Albany won the last time they faced Floyd Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 55-45 victory over the Highlanders.

Carter McQuigg and Jude Vetter certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. McQuigg posted eight points and eight rebounds, while Vetter put up nine points. Landon Reed also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steals of the season.

New Albany's record is now 3-1. As for Floyd Central, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

New Albany and Lawrence North will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on the 20th. As for Floyd Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-44 loss against Heritage Hills on the 13th.
