Basketball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Casey-Westfield's Winning Streak

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Casey-Westfield couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of Tuscola by a score of 57-54 on Friday. Casey-Westfield was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Tuscola earlier this season, when they won 58-55.

When it comes to explaining why Casey-Westfield lost, don't look at Hayden Parcel. Despite the final result, he shot 47% from the field to rack up 19 points and three steals. Parcel has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times he's played. Nolan Clement was another key player, putting up seven points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
