Volleyball Recap: Farragut Starts Season with Win at Home

Farragut gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They skirted past the Concord Christian Lions 3-2. The Admirals haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Farragut was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-17, 16-25, 18-25, 25-21, 15-9.

Despite the defeat, Concord Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Nola Lawrence had 17 digs.

Farragut wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Maryville on the 19th. As for Concord Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against West on the 19th.
