Baseball Recap: Harrison Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Harrison's offense. They lost 11-0 to the George Washington Patriots on Tuesday. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Harrison saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Archuleta, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for George Washington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrison will host Pueblo Centennial at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for George Washington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Standley Lake at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
