Softball Recap: Aurora Central Trojans vs. Overland Trailblazers
Aurora Central lost against Overland back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Aurora Central Trojans lost 20-10 to the Overland Trailblazers. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Trailblazers recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Yoselin Reyes Rosales was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Aurora Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Overland, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aurora Central will welcome Jefferson Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aurora Central knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten run or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Jefferson Academy likes a good challenge. As for Overland, they will face off against Douglas County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Overland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.
