Baseball Game Preview: Tinora Rams vs. Bryan Golden Bears

The Tinora Rams are taking a road trip to square off against the Bryan Golden Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Tinora will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Tinora took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Swanton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams won by a run and slipped past the Bulldogs 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since April 30th.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Bryan ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Central Catholic. The game was the first time the Golden Bears have beaten the Irish on their field since April 11, 2017.

Tinora's victory bumped their record up to 16-3-1. As for Bryan, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.

Tinora came out on top in a nail-biter against Bryan in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
