Softball Recap: Bell Takes a Loss

Bell suffered their biggest loss since February 28th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Union County Fightin' Tigers, falling 14-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Fightin' Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Bell saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Krista Scott, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Bell's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Union County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bell will face off against Newberry at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Union County, they will challenge Hilliard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
