Soccer Recap: Ridge Point Comes Up Short

Ridge Point was the 3-1 winner over Fort Bend Hightower when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Ridge Point Panthers fell just short of the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Panthers came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 691st).

The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Fort Bend Hightower, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-15.
