Football Preview: Perkins Pirates vs. Clyde Fliers
The Perkins Pirates will challenge the Clyde Fliers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Clyde is hoping to do what Bellevue couldn't on Friday: put an end to Perkins' winning streak, which now stands at five games. Perkins claimed a resounding 43-0 win over Bellevue on the road. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Redmen are ranked 299th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

That's the most rushing yards Wilson has posted since back in September of 2023. Kam Shortridge was another key player, picking up 119 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Perkins' win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Clyde, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
