Baseball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Marmaton Valley Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-9 loss on Monday.

Northeast now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Marmaton Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Northeast by a score of 11-9 later that day.
