Basketball Recap: Odessa Comes Up Short

Odessa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop LeBlond Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 468th, while the Eagles are ranked 30th).

Odessa's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Bishop LeBlond, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

Odessa will head out on the road to challenge Van Horn at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th. Bishop LeBlond has already played their next matchup, a 54-38 win against Cameron on the 28th.
