Basketball Recap: Haas Hall Academy Takes a Loss

Haas Hall Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were beaten by the Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins 64-30. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mastiff this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 78-30 back in November of 2024.

Ace Clardy and Tobe Duru certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Clardy went 5 of 12 en route to 14 points and three blocks, while Duru posted 11 points and three steals. Those three steals gave Duru a new career-high.

Haas Hall Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Ozark Catholic Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Haas Hall Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-45 loss against Thaden on the 4th. Ozark Catholic Academy has also already played their next contest (against Clarksville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
