Recap: Cullman Bearcats vs. Pell City Panthers
On Saturday, Cullman didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Pell City, but they still walked away with a 57-53 win.
Pell City's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Saniya McFarlin, who scored 17 points. McFarlin continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Iyana Allen, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Cullman has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Pell City, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.
Cullman's road trip will continue as they head out to face Chelsea at 12:30 p.m. on December 18th. Chelsea is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Pell City will take on West Point in a holiday battle at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at.
