Basketball Recap: New Hope Comes Up Short

New Hope and Madison Academy squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but New Hope had to settle for second. They fell 54-41 to the Madison Academy Mustangs. The Indians have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

New Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 22-12. As for Madison Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

As of now, neither New Hope nor Madison Academy have any future games scheduled.
