Softball Recap: Lecanto Takes a Loss

The Lecanto Panthers lost 11-1 to the Mitchell Mustangs on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lecanto saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justeen Wilson, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Lecanto's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Mitchell, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 17-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lecanto will welcome Crystal River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mitchell, they will host River Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
