After losing to Newberry the last time they met, Bradford decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tornadoes put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 28-7 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Tornadoes, who have now won six matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Bradford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kemontae Nixon led the charge by picking up 114 receiving yards and three TDs. The Tornadoes also got a significant boost from Iyen Addison, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 137 yards.

Bradford pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.7 points on average over those games. As for Newberry, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Bradford will face off against Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Newberry, they will take on Fort White at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
