Orem entered their tilt with Payson on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They claimed a resounding 49-0 win over the Lions. Considering the Tigers have won five matchups by more than 29 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Tayden-Evan Kaawa threw for 133 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes. Beck Coy was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards. On the ground, Aisa Galeai rushed for 70 yards and one TD.

Orem's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Payson, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
