Basketball Recap: Southside Christian Comes Up Short

Southside Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 39-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raleigh Christian Academy Eagles.

Southside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Raleigh Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southside Christian will square off against Hilltop Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Southside Christian is facing Hilltop Christian at the right time seeing as Hilltop Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Raleigh Christian Academy has already played their next game (against Fayetteville Street Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
