Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berne Union). Everything went their way against the Harvest Prep Warriors on Thursday as they made off with a 23-1 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Berne Union is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Harvest Prep, they dropped their record down to 0-13 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Berne Union will take on Centerburg at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Rockets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Harvest Prep, they will head out to challenge Grove City Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
