Baseball Preview: Pearl River Central Blue Devils vs. George County Rebels
For the second straight game, Pearl River Central will face off against George County. The Blue Devils will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Rebels at 7:00 p.m.
Pearl River Central heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Monday. They fell just short of George County by a score of 4-2. The Blue Devils were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the four games prior), but the Rebels' pitchers proved too tough.
For George County's part, Canyon Reeves made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
