Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Antioch). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Round Lake Panthers a 16-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering the Sequoits have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Antioch is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-13 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Round Lake, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Looking ahead, Antioch will take on Grayslake North at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Round Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
