Volleyball Recap: Flowery Branch Falcons vs. Union County Panthers

Flowery Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Union County Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Union County found their leader in freshman Kamryn Brown, who had five digs and one block. Brown has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 17 times she's played.

Flowery Branch's loss dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Union County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season.

Flowery Branch will challenge East Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union County, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Gilmer on the 25th.
