Football Game Recap: Freedom vs. Plant

Plant were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Freedom 42-3. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Plant, who can brag about five blowout wins.

Plant started the matchup off right with 29 first-half points. Freedom countered with 3 points, leaving the score at 29-3 going into the half. The Plant defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the match.

The victory was the 5th in a row for Plant raised their record to 7-1. This is the second loss in a row for Freedom and nudges their record down to 3-6.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Plant will square off against Wiregrass Ranch at 7:30 PM next week. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. Freedom will stay at home next week against Leto at 7:30 PM. Leto are limping into the game on a eight-game losing streak.
