Softball Recap: Kermit Takes a Loss

The Kermit Yellow Jackets lost 16-5 to the Pecos Eagles on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Azlene Valencia made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Hadley Hardaway, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Kermit's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Pecos, their record now sits at 2-5.

While Kermit had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:50 p.m. on Friday.
