 The Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels will be playing at home against the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Moshannon Valley will be strutting in after a  victory while Conemaugh Valley will be coming in after a  defeat.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Moshannon Valley gave their fans yet another huge  win on Thursday. They put the hurt on Harmony Area with a sharp  18-3 victory. While fans of Moshannon Valley might be used to big wins, the 15-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
  Valent Cervenak made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits (and not a single walk). Cervenak was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Zach Reifer was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Tanner Kephart, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-5.
 Meanwhile, Conemaugh Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They fell  5-1 to Conemaugh Township. Having soared to a lofty 15  runs in the game before, Conemaugh Valley couldn't push the score so high this time.
 The  win  got Moshannon Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Conemaugh Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
 Moshannon Valley skirted past Conemaugh Valley  3-1 in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023. Does  Moshannon Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Conemaugh Valley turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
