The Millers Creek Christian Lions can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. Everything went their way against Asheboro Hybrid Academy as Millers Creek Christian made off with a 37-13 victory. The team accrued 28 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.
It was another big night for Cam Layaou, who scored 25 points along with nine blocks and two steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Childers, who scored eight points along with nine steals.
Millers Creek Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millers Creek Christian will take on Victory Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Vandalia Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th.
