Baseball Recap: Norris Victorious

Norris won the last time they faced Elkhorn and things went their way on Thursday too. The Titans came out on top against the Antlers by a score of 9-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

The team relied heavily on Kaden Kraft, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Jordan Monroe was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Norris always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matches.

Norris' win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Elkhorn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-16.

Looking ahead, Norris will welcome Seward at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bluejays' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Elkhorn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
